This project will construct a new electrical Receiving Station “X” (RS-X) and associated electrical infrastructure improvements in order to address persistent power reliability, redundancy, and capacity issues at LAX. The proposed site is located at the southeast corner of Pershing Road and Westchester Parkway. MA Engineering is leading LID/Storm drainage design for this project. MA Engineering staff is developing plan/profile and report documents, including hydrology, and hydraulic analysis for the proposed onsite storm drain system and LID BMP’s. Design deliverables include hydrology and hydraulic design for the proposed offsite improvements, as well as internal and agency coordination.
